I first met Dr Bhamber when I was summoned to the Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital after he had arrived in Exeter to help with reducing the lengthy list of folk waiting for knee replacements. From the first moment I met this chap he put me at total ease. He explained everything in excellent detail and I left our initial meeting feeling very confident that, when it came to my operation I'd be in very, very good hands. A couple of months later (April 2022) I got the chance to find out if my thoughts were accurate. AND HOW THEY WERE - Dr Bamber also had Mr Keith Ayres and Claire Spolton Dean in theatre and, with a spinal block, I was awake throughout the 70 odd minutes that they were at work. Given I arrived at the Nightingale at 7.15am, and departed just after 6.10pm having arrived with my own knee that I was born with 64 years before and leaving with a new replacement knee - my care (over just under 11 hours) by the entire TEAM NIGHTINGALE really was FIRST CLASS and that is mist certainly the two words I'd used to describe Dr Bhamber - a gentleman who clearly is 'at the top of his game'. I'd recommend him as a surgeon to anyone - and everyone.

Mr Niv Bhamber operated on my knee replacement which was dealt with in an excellent fashion. Unfortunately the wound failed to heal ( through no fault of Mr Bhamber) which meant further interventions. Throughout this process NV was an extremely caring, concerned and understanding individual even taking time in his days off to visit me when infections caused complications. Having undertaken two operations I was referred to Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre for further treatment all driven by Niv Bhamber. I am now on the road to recovery and cannot thank him enough for his attentiveness and commitment to me. Given his commitment to both the job and patient Niv will continue to serve his patients well.

Niv Bhamber operated on our daughter's arm for 4 and 1/2 hours after a sever to the radius and ulna forearm shaft plus internal fracturing inside once they opened up the arm. The bones are now completely healed so much so that the original break cannot be seen by x-ray. We are so very grateful to this doctor. He is also personable and explained the operation clearly to our daughter.
